How might practices line up with policies? The temptation to invest in training staff is natural, but research indicates that it’s not effective when used in the absence of other strategies. Examples of Our Work

  • For a school district, we developed a comprehensive landscape analysis of the strengths, challenges, and opportunities related to student and school safety. We led focus groups and interviews with students, parents/caregivers, administrators, educators, and school staff. In addition, we conducted analysis of district data related to student outcomes, a literature review, and developed a report with recommendations. Equipped with this baseline of knowledge of strengths and opportunities, we developed a work plan designed to enhance safety and belonging in the district.

  • For nonprofit organizations and private sector firms, we routinely complete organizational culture assessments that reflect employee experiences and opportunities to enhance experiences through organizational policy and practice shifts.
